So like, yeah, I did give up on this. I knew that I would tbh, because I almost always give up on anything that I start out to do.
It started out as fun, but got a little boring half way through. I tried, so there’s that.

23. Mirror.
I didn’t buy the sexy sparkly dress that I had in mind, but instead a dress that was made for me.
The style, the fabric, the dark tones, the fit…everything screams Lottie about this dress, and I have my mother to thank for finding it.
On the plus side, I feel like a million dollars when I’m wearing it.
The downside, I’ve spent all of my West Coast funds and then some on this and the Michael Korrs shoes.
But really though, look at all of the fucks I give?! I’ll just start from scratch, no biggy.

21. Inspired by music.
Nothing was inspiring me to do anything today, until this song came on.
I put on some pants, went into town, and came back with new bedding and cushions.

20. Blue.
Ugh, this is the only thing that I can find within like, a three step distance, so here is my blue contribution.
More importantly though, I HAVE KAHLUA! White Russians are my guilty booze pleasure, and go great with Chocolate Fudge Pop-Tarts.

19. Pretty.
I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s my cousins Wedding in June, and he’s having two day ceremony. On the Saturday, it’s 30 of his closest friends and family, then on the Sunday, a huge party for everyone else.
Dress code; Usual wedding attire for the Saturday. Red carpet glamour for the Sunday. I’ve yet to buy either.
He suggested a website to my sister and I for the Saturday, and wants us to wear similar dresses. When I mentioned that it might look a little fancy dress…“oh dahhhling, that’s even better, who doesn’t love a bit of dressing up?!” (bloomin’ theatre Queens).
Anyway, my sister’s dress came in yesterday and I have to admit, it is very pretty! So as soon as I’ve chosen the fabric, I’m having the same style dress made…and I can’t wait to twirl around in it.

18. Vanity.
I’d love to say that I’m not a vain person but eh, when you rarely leave the house without at least the basics on your face, have a link on your blog directing people to photos of your face and upload a new photo every Wednesday (sometimes even twice a week)…who am I kidding?!
I like to look nice, I like to make an effort both for myself and other people.

16. Take a photo, tell a story.
Location: Captains Chair, The Bridge, U.S.S Enterprise.
I’m not in a story telling mood, so I’ll keep this short.
As well as chewing his way through any books left on the floor, Jim also has a penchant for eating his way through this wicker chair. Seriously, he’s already taken the wicker off three out of four legs, and is now making his way through the back and arms.
Three reasons why I have no problem with this…
1. It keeps him happy. A happy bunny makes for a happy Lottie.
2. It’s good for sharpening his teeth. (Though so not great for his stomach…probably).
3. I really fucking hate that chair! It’s not mine, and not to my taste. So I’ll be relieved when he finally eats the entire eye sore.

These pearls and garnet ring were passed down to me from my Grandmother.
I seldom wear them, for fear of loss or damage, but they’re always out on display to remind me of her strength, wit, warmth and our 25 years together.

12. Routine.
I’d be a liar if I said that my nightly routine didn’t consist of getting home between 10 and 11pm, taking off my pants, lighting a few candles, pouring a glass or two of red, then settle down to watch TV/scroll down my dashboard for the remainder of the evening. A fucking liar, I say.
